Sports Information Specialist (artistic and rhythmic gymnastics) for the Games News Service (GNS) at the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games. Tasks included:

– Research and write accurate and compelling news stories, flash quotes, previews and reviews from athlete training and competitions in the lead up and during the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games (published on GamesInfo)
– To brief, guide and manage a team of volunteer flash quote reporters
– To liaise with the Central Editorial Team to ensure a quick, accurate and consistent news delivery
– Brief the GNS volunteers, the wider Press Operations venue team and, where required, the accredited media on the sport and likely news events
