About Lisa Deen
Since 2006, I’ve written for various newspapers, magazines and websites.
My passion for sports journalism started when I was sixteen years old and invited to cover the ‘Unive Gym Gala’, a gymnastics show in The Netherlands.
After a quick look behind the scenes and a couple of interviews I knew this was what I wanted to do for the years following: reporting about sports and sharing the stories behind the medals.
During my Bachelor of Journalism, I started to work as a freelance sports journalist. I covered competitions, visited training sessions and conducted numerous interviews.
I graduated in 2011 and in 2014 achieved a Master’s in International Sports Management.
